Har Hazeisim Finds A New Home – On The Internet

The world’s oldest bais hakevaros just went online. A new project undertaken by the City of David archeological Park, located south of Yerushalayim’s Old City and at the foot of the Har Hazeisim cemetery (AKA Mount of Olives), has begun the process of identifying and documenting tombstones throughout the entirety of Har Hazeisim and uploading the data to the Web.

Religious Women at higher risk of being drafted to the IDF

The Knesset Law Committee approved the text of a new bill on Sunday that would crack down on young women obtaining exemptions from IDF service by means of fraudulent declarations of religious observance. The bill, if made law, would establish more stringent criteria for the exemption.
